I read in a book about writing that it is a good idea to give yourself a present or celebration for when you've done writing a rough draft. Often these things help motivate to get the job done quicker. Well, I really liked the idea and ever since reading that, that is what I've done. I usually give myself a present ahead of time but don't use it until the novel rough draft is complete. To me, this usually means something to do with Angry Birds merchandise as you can see below. I also like to go out to dinner at my favourite local restaurant. That would be Tall Timbers.
With this post I wanted to show what some of my presents to myself are.
